Born in Corsica in the city of Bastia, Alexandre Biaggi was riddled with the antique world at a very young age, as his father had a passion for submarine archaeology and antique furnitures. After a Master’s in Law in Paris, he started Auctionneer studies and obtained his diploma. He discovered XXth Century furnitures and the Art market at the Drouot Hotel. More tempted by the Antique dealer job, he started out at the Saint-Ouen Flea Markets before opening an antiques shop 54 rue Jacob in Paris where he specialised in the Decorative Arts of 1920 to 1950, and kept a certain eclecticism. Since 1996 he moved to the 14 rue de Seine in Paris. He there proposes his advice as a decorator, and also XXth century decorators creations and more recently contemporary creations. |
